Flying Down to Rio
1933
Costume seen on Dolores Del Rio as Belinha De Rezende
The Gay Divorcee
1934
Costume seen on Betty Grable as Dance Speciality

The now defunct studio, RKO, was known in the 30s for their Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers films, of which they made nine. Because the films were from the same studio, and the films themselves were similar in needing big dance number costumes, it's no surprise that costumes from their other similar films were reused agin.

This example is actually a silk pair of pajamas that was designed by Walter Plunkett for Flying Down to Rio. It was used again the next year in The Gay Divorcee.
