Portrait
This portrait of Rex Harrison was likely painted by artist John George Vogel for use in 1947 film The Ghost and Mrs.Muir.  The painting was used again in 1961 in the film All Hands on Deck, and in 1962 in Mr.Hobbs Takes a Vacation. In 1968 artist Eddie Martinez was hired to paint over Rex Harrison’s face, and paint in the face of actor Edward Mulhare, for use in the television adaptation of The Ghost and Mrs.Muir. Martinez also noted that he painted over the ship’s wheel at that time, though that cannot be correct, as the wheel was clearly painted over sometime in 1961 or 1962 - as it appears in All Hands on Deck, but is not present in Mr.Hobbs Takes a Vacation.
