This gown has been spotted at least seven times in films and in television! It was first designed for film production of Sense and Sensibility , in 1995 with costumes designed by both Jenny Beaven and and John Bright. It was next seen in the BBC's hilarious Jane Austen parody, Plots and Proposals from the television show Victoria Wood With All the Trimmings. The gown has been seen in use for the reality tv series Regency House Party, the made for TV film Byron, and was even used twice for ITV's Jane Austen Season, finally appearing in the 2011 version of Wuthering Heights. |
