We have this really cool dress that’s been reused in television many times, but certainly originated in a film…and, well, we (one of my wonderful contributors, rather) found the film! I love finding the (likely) origination of a piece.
A beautiful costume from The Duchess is also featured this week.

Costume Commentary
What trailers have been released? I’m a bit out of the loop since dealing with water damage at home has become a much bigger deal than expected and we had to clear out two kitchens and two bathrooms because of it. I’m only aware of the final season of Babylon Berlin getting a release date and trailer (at least for Germany. No idea about the international dates yet). I just saw some set pictures from the new Tangled and it looks like The Serpent Queen‘s costumes have found a new home and use which is fantastic. Since they film in Spain, I was surprised to not yet see some of The Spanish Princess costumes that were sold to Peris Costumes. But maybe that will still happen later. Anyhow the coronation scene alone looks like a feast of reused costumes. In the mean time, I have been working on some Once Upon A Time for my tumblr blog and found some reuses I wasn’t aware of previously. I still have two more I still need to submit eventually.
I’ve seen My Brilliant Career remake, and Sense and Sensibility. I feel like there is one more, but I can’t think of it. I am SO SORRY to hear about the water damage. That’s awful. It’s so sad and painful and time consuming. I hope that you are able to find the time and energy to get it taken care of. What an awful ordeal! Looking forward to your new submissions. And I think we will see some Spanish Princess costumes when we get more behind the scenes stuff.
I seen trailer for Practical Magic 2, Jumanji: Open World and Ebenezer (2026), I think comes more before years is over and I cant wait see more behind the scenes of Disney’s live-action ‘Tangled costumes and if reused other period dramas or history costumes…

I loved Once Upon a Time and there outfits and costumes, I found or soo lot reused from Tv series…. and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland has lot amazing costumes too and reused costumes too….
