Fifteenth Anniversary!

August 28, 2024

A costume from an obscure series! This is a new one for me – it’s called She Wolf of London, and it was apparently pretty short lived.

Speaking of short lived – I know I mentioned that Renegade Nell didn’t get renewed, but we also found that My Lady Jane also did not get renewed. What’s with these series not getting a second season?  It seems almost intentional at this point. If you want to make a miniseries, make a miniseries…I like and welcome a good miniseries! It’s, in my opinion, the ideal format. Someday…someday when I win the lottery and own my own production company…grumble, grumble, grumble.

I realized just today that July was this website’s 15th anniversary. Something that completely passed by my notice, because I was buried at work. But that’s cool though! It’s been a lot of work. And not just for me, but for my contributors who have been incredible and amazing and eagle eyed. I could not have done it without all of your contributions, your support, your kind emails and messages, your follows, your re-blogs, etc. I really appreciate each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.

But back to reused costumes. Two super cool reused costumes this week, with a total of five sightings. Please enjoy them, keep sending in your finds, and keep coming back each week for more!

About The AUthor

Katie is the creator of Recycled Movie Costumes, where she’s constantly haunted by the ghosts of costumes past. One day, she had an epiphany: if she had to suffer through these recycled costumes, then so should everyone else! And thus, Recycled Movie Costumes was born.

Contrary to popular belief, Katie does not have a photographic memory, nor does she work in the costume industry. She’s just a girl whose life has slowly spiraled out of control after watching too many costume dramas on Masterpiece Theatre.
