Distinctive Pieces You Can’t Miss

February 7, 2024

These two costumes are so bold and distinctive that you can’t miss them when they show up again!

We’ve got a piece by James Acheson that was posted over at The Costumer’s Guide years ago, and I honestly thought I had posted, but I guess I had not.  We have so many costumes here now that it’s getting hard to keep up.

Hallmark is creating several Jane Austen themed films for “Loveuary,” and there are quite a few reused costumes, which I’ll make an effort to post this month. Today we have a costume from the newest adaptation of  Sense and Sensibility.

Enjoy! Keep sending in submissions and check back next week.

About The AUthor

Katie is the creator of Recycled Movie Costumes, where she’s constantly haunted by the ghosts of costumes past. One day, she had an epiphany: if she had to suffer through these recycled costumes, then so should everyone else! And thus, Recycled Movie Costumes was born.

Contrary to popular belief, Katie does not have a photographic memory, nor does she work in the costume industry. She’s just a girl whose life has slowly spiraled out of control after watching too many costume dramas on Masterpiece Theatre.
