A suit owned by LBJ’s Mistress?
January 10, 2024
Today we have a suit that was supposedly owned by LBJ’s mistress. Yeah, you read that right. Look – anyone who gets photographic proof of this wins…wins…I don’t know, the internet? You win the internet.
I still haven’t watched any of the costume dramas I’m supposed to have watched. Napoleon came out yesterday. I might watch that. I just want to be warm, eat soup and watch costume dramas. You would think when you own a site about costume dramas that you’d wind up watching more costume dramas and not less, but somehow…
I just now remembered that last night I dreamed I was in a costume warehouse in Los Angeles. It did not seem to be a specific warehouse, but it had lots of old costumes, and I remember finding a piece by Adrian from Marie Antoinette.
Firebrand finally has a U.S. release date of June 21st. I know I’ve gushed about it before, but look at that French hood. Look at it. Look AT IT.

About The AUthor
Katie is the creator of Recycled Movie Costumes, where she’s constantly haunted by the ghosts of costumes past. One day, she had an epiphany: if she had to suffer through these recycled costumes, then so should everyone else! And thus, Recycled Movie Costumes was born.
Contrary to popular belief, Katie does not have a photographic memory, nor does she work in the costume industry. She’s just a girl whose life has slowly spiraled out of control after watching too many costume dramas on Masterpiece Theatre.
