Hello everyone! As I am sure you all can see, the site has undergone a major overhaul. Thank you to the developers who helped make the site functionality possible.
You are now able to create an account to submit new costumes. You are also able to make edits to already existing costumes if you happen to find them used in a new production. I’ll do my best to make some how-to videos and post them on youtube early next year, but the process should be fairly self-explanatory.
If you’ve submitted a costume to me in the past that has not made it live on the site yet, you do NOT need to re-submit it, though if you want to, that would be awesome. However, any new sightings you find should be submitted via your account, please.
There are still some tweaks being worked out over the next couple of weeks, such as our comment system, which is not fully functioning yet. We also have a lot of exciting features planned for the new year, so please be on the lookout.
I am still determining how new updates will work. For the time being, I plan to still update with just a couple of new costumes each weekend, but that is subject to change, and depending on the influx, I may post more frequently.
All photos on the site have been re-sourced at the highest resolution available. Thank you to the wonderful freelancers who helped make that happen, watching and capping literally hundreds of films.
Please have a look at our FAQ if you have any further questions, or feel free to reach out to me at submissions@recycledmoviecostumes.com.
In the meantime, please enjoy one new costume and three new sightings this week! Check back next week for more updates.

About The AUthor

Katie is the creator of Recycled Movie Costumes, where she’s constantly haunted by the ghosts of costumes past. One day, she had an epiphany: if she had to suffer through these recycled costumes, then so should everyone else! And thus, Recycled Movie Costumes was born.
Contrary to popular belief, Katie does not have a photographic memory, nor does she work in the costume industry. She’s just a girl whose life has slowly spiraled out of control after watching too many costume dramas on Masterpiece Theatre.
