Diamonds and Damask

July 5, 2023

This week we have a diamond necklace that has been seen six times, and a damask coat that’s been spotted four times over the years!

In addition, I’ve updated three other pages with little pieces of info – some extra photos in the gallery, name changes, etc. No new sightings there, but I want to try to keep pages updated as much as possible. If you add photos to a costume gallery or a piece of info that’s not a new sighting, I’ll do my best to always get those up ASAP, and you won’t have to wait like with a new costume sighting.

Still plugging away at things here. Mostly finished with some really intense page tagging to give you unique tags, in addition to the normal movie and actor tags. If you want to find items with fur, damask, diamonds, etc, you should be able to search for all of those, in addition to searching by color.

With regards to color – please note in some instances items have been tagged with multiple colors. A green/blue dress might be tagged with both green and blue. The damask coat I uploaded today for instance is tagged as both orange and yellow.

About The AUthor

Katie is the creator of Recycled Movie Costumes, where she’s constantly haunted by the ghosts of costumes past. One day, she had an epiphany: if she had to suffer through these recycled costumes, then so should everyone else! And thus, Recycled Movie Costumes was born.

Contrary to popular belief, Katie does not have a photographic memory, nor does she work in the costume industry. She’s just a girl whose life has slowly spiraled out of control after watching too many costume dramas on Masterpiece Theatre.
