About the Costume

This gown was created for Alix Poisson’s portrayal of Margareta von York in the 2017 mini-series Maximilian – Das Spiel von Macht und Liebe (Maximilian and Marie de Bourgogne). It was spotted later that same year when it was worn by Jodie Comer as Elizabeth of York in the fourth episode of The White Princess, entitled The Pretender. The costume appears to have been altered, the sleeves having been removed and made detachable. In addition, the fur around the neckline and the sleeves also appear to have been changed.
