About the Costume

This black leather armor, built to resemble the scales of a reptile, likely has numerous duplicates, as is common with uniforms that may be needed to costume an entire on-screen army.

The piece was first seen on Amarsaikhan Baljinnyam as Ariq Böke in the 2014 episode of Marco Polo entitled The Wolf and the Deer. Danila Kozlovsky later wore it as Oleg in a 2019 episode of the television series Vikings entitled The Prophet, where additional details were added around the edges of the costume to give it a different look.
