About the Costume

This lovely mirror was most likely one of the many props that Twentieth Century Fox (Now Twentieth Century Studios) kept in their prop warehouse. It was first spotted in the 1950 film All About Eve and made another appearance in the 1953 film How to Marry a Millionaire. It is highly probable that the mirror was used for other films as well.

About the Costume

Have you ever watched a film and noticed a character walk by in a gown that you just know you’ve seen before? Recycled Movie Costumes is dedicated to documenting the life of a costume through its various appearances on film and television.
