About the Costume

This costume seems to have been used twice in Game of Thrones, first on Richard Madden as Robb Stark in the 2013 episode The Rains of Castamere, and then again on Alfie Allen as Theon Greyjoy in the 2015 episode Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken. It has been accessorized with different capes and belts, but appears to be the same piece. Because the costume underwent a good deal during the episode The Rains of Castamere, there were likely several versions made, and it is very possible that it is one of the duplicates that went on to be used on Alfie Allen two years later.

  1. That’s the robe, Robb (SPOILER & nerd alert) died in, right? Interesting reuse. Wonder, if the Boltons, or Ramsay for that matter, put Reek in it on (sick, sick) purpose.

    • It’s a very fitting reuse on that show, which unlike other shows, i think creates most costumes from scratch, given the fantasy aspects (though season 1 may have had some borrowed costumes when the budget was less.)

Some of Sansa’s costumes in the season may have been previously on Caitlyn stark. and probably some of the plainer northern costumes might have been reused
