About the Costume

This gold French hood was first worn by Catherine Steadman as Joan Bulmer, one of the ladies in waiting to Queen Katherine Howard in the 2010 fourth season of The Tudors. Subtle red beading just at the edge of the hood appears to have been removed by the time Sai Bennett was seen wearing the piece as Mary Rose Tudor in the 2020 second season of The Spanish Princess.
