Republic picture’s, 1947’s film Wyoming featured this small brooch, encrusted with garnets in a silverplate metal setting, worn by Vera Ralston as Karen Alderson.

The piece was used again by Noreen Nash as Linda in The Tender Years in 1948, an ahead-of-its-time film about the evils of dog fighting.

Some of the stones have gone missing over the years. It sold recently for $256 at auction.
