About the Costume

It’s generally more common to find recycled costumes for women, as their garments tend to be more distinctive and detailed. However, this instance of a recycled costume is a great exception – especially considering that it has been seen six times over the years!

This paisley dressing gown was first seen in 1991 on Nathaniel Parker as Chris Davidson in an episode of Poirot entitled The Affair at the Victory Ball. It was used again in 1994 in The House of Eliott on Richard Lintern as Daniel Page. In 1997 it was seen in The Wingless Bird worn by Edward Atterton as Charles Farrier, and then again that same year in The Grand worn by Ifan Meredith as Stephen Bannerman.

In 2001 it was spotted on Anthony Andrews as Boy in Love in a Cold Climate. Finally, it was seen in 2002 worn by Tom Hiddleston as Randolph Churchill in The Gathering Storm.
