About the Costume

This beautiful blouse with what appear to be the initials JS first appeared on Selina Cadell in the role of Caroline Sheppard in the 2000 episode of Poirot titled The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. In 2008 it was recycled for the Poirot episode Cat Among the Pigeons when Harriet Walter wore it as Miss Bulstrode. Because the initials do not match the initials of Selina Cadell’s character, it is likely that this costume originates to an earlier production.
