About the Costume

This exquisite costume was first seen in the 1984 movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, where it was worn by the “Little Maharaja” played by Raj Singh. The costume was recycled in the 1993 adaptation of The Secret Garden, also on “The Little Maharaja,” played by an extra, though it is difficult to see.

This costume was part of Cosprop’s Fashion In Film Exhibit that toured the United States in 2007. Visitors to the exhibit were able to see the detailing on the costume up close, and the information at the exhibit confirmed that the costume was indeed reused for The Secret Garden.
