About the Costume

Sometimes a studio’s costumes are used for purposes other than to outfit a character. Sometimes they are used as props, and other times, as in the case above, they are used for promotional imagery.

This jumpsuit was first worn in the 1950 film I’ll Get By, where June Haver wore it as Liza Martin. The piece was used again for a promotional photo for Fox Studios on star Anne Bancroft.
