About the Costume

This lovely wedding gown was seen twice in 1933. An uncredited Walter Plunkett almost certainly designed it. Marian Nixon first wore it as Glory Franklyn in Chance at Heaven and then spotted a few months later on Ginger Rogers as Honey Hale in a promotional photo for Flying Down to Rio, though the gown did not appear in the film itself.
