Costume Commentary

  1. I think this is the same dress. The front matches the images of the dress as it is worn by Lily James and Annabelle Wallis; the back matches the dress’ front on Amy Phillips and Natasha Little.

    The Durrells
    2016
Costume seen on Leslie Caron as Countess Mavrodaki

  2. Series two episode 6 of

    Peaky Blinders
    2014
Costume seen on Annabelle Wallis as Grace Burgess

Beading on the neckline is similar but not quite the same (possibly the back of the one in Another Life?). I’d love to see the beading along the sleeve hems, and the full front and back of the dress.

  3. I thought it would be more convenient for you if I posted the images here from

    Downton Abbey
    2013
Costume seen on Lady Rose MacClare

    Nice find, Katie!
