About the Costume

Fran Drescher first wore this highly distinctive dress as Fran Fine in the 1994 episode of The Nanny entitled The Playwright. It was seen again in the 2000 episode of The King of Queens titled Meet By-product when an extra wore it. While these may be two dresses of the same design pulled off the rack, because both shows were products of CBS, it is equally possible that they are one and the same.
