This red dress was first seen in 2014 in ABC’s Once Upon A Time when Lana Parrilla wore it as Regina Mills in the episode A Curious Thing, as well as the episode Kansas. The dress appeared again in 2015 on Blake Lively as Adaline Bowman in The Age of Adaline.
Often with modern costumes purchased off the rack, it is safe to assume that though they are the same design, the chances of them being the exact same gown are somewhat low. However, when a production shares a costume designer, filming locations, or something else in common, it is not entirely out of the question.
So is this dress the exact same one? Unfortunately, it is impossible to say. However, both productions are filmed in Canada, so the idea that this gown was rented from the same costume house is not a complete impossibility.
