About the Costume

The 2023 film Red, White & Royal Blue, based on the novel by Casey McQuiston, prompted numerous eagle-eyed Swifties to immediately notice that Ellie Bamber’s Princess Beatrice dons the same blue Jenny Packham gown worn by Taylor Swift in the 2014 music video Blank Space. Bustle.com quickly picked up on the trend, writing an article about the match, and several other publications followed suit with their own articles several days later.

The gown from Packham’s 2014 collection is almost certainly not the same exact gown, but it is certainly the same design.
