Faye Dunaway wore this lovely dressing gown as Milady de Winter in the 1974 film The Four Musketeers: Milady’s Revenge. The following year, Poldark reused the costume for Elizabeth Poldark Warleggan, played by Jill Townsend.

Seven years later, the piece was worn by Jane Seymour as Marguerite St. Just for the 1982 adaptation of The Scarlet Pimpernel. The next sighting of the costume was on an extra for the film adaptation The Return of the Musketeers in 1989. The dressing gown was most recently sighted in 1994 when Jean Anderson wore it as the Queen Mum in The Whipping Boy.
