Michael O’Connor designed this lovely gown for the 2008 film The Duchess, which won him an Academy Award for Best Costume Design. Charlotte Rampling wore the costume as Lady Spencer in the film. The costume was used two additional times – first in Belle in 2013 and then again in the 2017 season of Turn: Washington’s Spies, where it was worn by an extra.
