Polly Walker wore this incredible gown as Celia Clemence in the 1995 Restoration. The gown reappeared, with alterations to its bodice and sleeves, eight years later in the 2003 British television film Charles II: The Power and the Passion on actress Helen McCrory as Barbara Villiers, Countess of Castlemaine. Finally, the gown was recycled for use in a Bud Light Commercial in 2011, where it was seen on an uncredited actress.

I think this costume might also appear in The Man in the Iron Mask (1998 version), on an extra in a party scene (the party with the pig-chase).
Log in to ReplyCatherine of Aragon same necklace that Barbara Villiers in Charles II.
Catherine of Aragon – The Tudors – Maria Kennedy Doyle
That ruff (in the commercial), isn’t the same seen on a courtier in “The Virgin Queen” (2005), and then again in “The Tudors”, in Tamzin Merchant as Katherine Howard?
