About the Costume

This hooded dress was first worn by Alexandra Maria Lara as Princess Anna Amalia of Prussia in 2002’s Trenck – Zwei Herzen gegen die Krone (Trenck – Two Hearts Against the Crown).

It appeared again on a dress form in the background of Die kluge Bauerntochter (The Peasant’s Wise Daughter), the eighth movie of the second season of fairytale anthology series Sechs auf einen Streich (Finest Fairy Tales).

In 2025, the top part made a very brief appeareance in the second episode of sky’s Amadeus where it was worn by an extra at the wedding of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Constanze Weber.
