This red damask cloak trimmed in fur was first spotted on Amanda Hale as Lady Margaret Beaufort in the 2013 miniseries The White Queen. The costume was seen a second time in the 2020 made for television movie Jack and the Beanstalk: After Ever After, where Ashley McGuire wore it as the Mayoress. The fur has been changed to give it a different look.

Costume Commentary

  1. I’ll have to see whether I can get a better screenshot but I think this coat might be older than we thought because I think I just saw it on an extra in Breaking Dawn – Part 02 which came out in 2012 and very likely just rented this piece…if it is indeed the same piece.

      • My hunt for a better screencap so far has unfortunately not gone well. The first one with an amazing quality didn’t capture this moment but a second later where the extra is hidden by flames and the second source is pretty dark and not as high quality. I will continue looking. I also need to cross check Marcus’ (I think that was his name. It has been ages since I was into Twilight) outfit in this scene because it reminds me of something that the Emperor wore in Maximilian.
