This charming gown was likely made for the 1998 film Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, where it was worn by Joanna Miles as Queen Gertrude. In 2000 the costume was seen again in The Royal Diaries: Isabel – Jewel of Castilla, where Lisa Jakub wore it in the title role. The 2003 production of Henry VIII used the piece for Britta Becker as a lady in waiting, and in 2007 Slaine Kelly was seen wearing it as Jane Howard in Showtime’s television series The Tudors.

  1. I SWEAR I just saw this one in “Ever After”, worn by an extra at the ball, but I can’t find the picture, and the scene doesn’t appear in Youtube! I’ll keep looking.

    It appears before Danielle’s big entrance, seen on a courtier, walking by with a man. I recognized it immediatly.
