About the Costume

This beautiful gown was almost certainly designed after the dress worn by Isabella of Portugal in the 1548 portrait by Titian. Blanca Suárez first wore the costume itself as Isabel de Portugal in the 2015 series Carlos, Rey Emperador. It appeared again in the 2020 second season of The Spanish Princess, where Sai Bennet wore it as Mary Rose Tudor.
