It was likely made for Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth I in the 2005 HBO production Elizabeth I. In 2008 it was spotted on Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn in The Tudors, and in 2009 it was worn by Lara Pulver as Isabella in Robin Hood. 2013′s The White Queen saw it worn twice – once on Veerle Baetens as Margaret of Anjou and once on an extra. Finally, it was worn in The Spanish Princess on Charlotte Hope as Katharine of Aragon.
