  1. worn again by helen mcrory as queen elizabeth I in “bill” (2015). lt seems to be a different skirt though, fuller shape with a peplum and a different fabric. are there any full lenght pictures of the dress on helen mirren?

  2. In “Rival to the Queen”, by Carolly Erickson. I asume that the girl who’s wearing it is portraying Lettie Knollys, Queen Elizabeth’s cousin and rival…

  3. this was worn as well by the actress impersonating queen elizabeth in the docu “king james’s bible – the book that changed the world” from 2011. it was worn with the same upstanding lace collar that is to be seen on the cover of the novel.

  4. This was also featured on Carolly Erickson’s “Rival to a queen” cover, suprisingly they re-used two different but similar dresses on the cover.

  5. Oh God, the fit on Natalie is SO AWFUL! Did the designer not realize that this costume was made for someone who is over twice her age? Not even that ugly cawl thing could mask the fact that her boobs were about to fall all over the place.

  6. I know…sometimes the fit in this show is so awful it makes me want to cry. When I see all of the sleeves falling off the shoulders of the extras in the background it makes me especially freaked out.
