This beautiful but understated Edwardian gown was first seen in the 1987 film Maurice, where Kitty Aldridge wore it as Kitty Hall. Till We Meet Again, a 1989 television miniseries, reused it on Lucy Gutteridge in the role of Eve de Lancel. The costume’s third appearance was in the 1992 season episode of The Young Indians Jones Chronicles titled London, May 1916, where Elizabeth Hurley wore it as Vicky Prentiss. Its last known sighting was on the actress Amanda Royle as Elaine Dawson Porter in the 1997 production of The Wingless Bird.
