I’ve just spotted this again in Affairs of the Heart: Bessie on Anna Palk as Kitty Westlake. Making a note here so I remember to screenshot it.
Cool, thank you!!!
The year is 1974.

So pretty! Thank you! I’ve never heard of this show – any good?
It’s a series (two series, actually) made up of abbreviated adaptations of Henry James novels and novellas. (Right now I’m watching “Catherine,” which is based on Washington Square.). I first watched it years ago, back when all the eps were uploaded to yt. That’s when I first spotted this costume

And this one

I picked up the dvd sets used for a buck or two over the summer, and am finally getting around to watching them. I enjoy the episodes (some more than others), even though they all suffer from those 1970s uk tv lighting, staging, and video quirks.
Incidentally, my dvd collection is expanding thanks to cheap deals at Goodwill and other charity shops. I’ve gotten some great finds at charity tag sales, too. Last weekend I found Berkeley Square in the “free” box!
Looking through promo images, I spotted this piece again on Catherine Zeta-Jones as Victoria Chapman in The Cinder Path 1994.

Beautiful!
It is! And it’s nice having hi-res images from various angles; it helps when comparing.
