In 1985 the dress was spotted in the television movie Florence Nightingale where actress Jaclyn Smith wore it in the title role. Christine Kavanagh later wore it as Rosina Lagrange in the 1995 adaptation of The Glass Virgin, and in 2004, Barbara Flynn was seen in the gown as the character Mrs. French in He Knew He Was Right.
