Apparently this shows up again in the “Wishing you were somehow here again” music video on Sarah Brightman…

Nice catch! Did you spot it, or was it one of your sm followers? Have you learned the year this video was made? Very interesting place for a costume to show up!
Found a tumblr site that discusses this music video.

And this site gives 1987 as the video’s year.

Kind of having fun researching this video! Brightman released a dvd of her video collection in 2006, titled _Diva: The Video Collection_. I’ve been watching it online. In her introduction to this video, she mentions that the costume was made for a “very, very slim Hollywood actress.”
Hmmmm, now I’m wondering what that film could be? And it must be from 1984 or earlier, probably shot in England because the costume house is located there.

WOW, thank you for all of this. This helps me a lot. Yeah, I am so curious where this costume originates. And yeah, one of my followers on tumblr found this!
That’s so cool! You just never know which costume someone “out there” might recognize — and from a surprising source. And reposting on sm gets it out there more.
