About the Costume

This costume first appeared in the 2004 movie adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera, starring Emmy Rossum as Christine Daae. The dress was later used on the cover of Todor Por Amor (All for Love), a 2006 historical fiction novel by author Dan Jacobson. Interestingly, it seems the same The Phantom of the Opera promotional photograph was used, only it has been mirrored and a new head has been photoshopped on.
