This lovely purple gown was first seen in the 1983 production To the Lighthouse, where Rosemary Harris wore it as Mrs. Ramsay. A painting featuring her in the dress also appeared in the production as well. The gown was used again on Jessica Brown Findlay as Lady Sybil Crawley in Downton Abbey in 2010.
