These marvelous embroidered gowns were created for the 1997 film Mrs. Brown, where Queen Victoria’s daughters wore them. One of the costumes in the set made its way into the 2005 episode of Doctor Who entitled The Unquiet Dead, where Jennifer Hill wore it as Mrs. Peace.
