Dinah Collin designed this Victorian mourning gown for the 2017 adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier’s My Cousin Rachel, which Rachel Weisz wore as Rachel Ashley. The dress was used a second time in 2017 by Jenna Coleman as Queen Victoria in the second season of the ITV series Victoria. The costume appears primarily unchanged, aside from the removal of lace around the collar and sleeves. The piece was used a third time in the 2019 first episode of the television series Dickinson, where Anna Baryshnikov wore it as Lavinia Dickinson
