  1. What a funny coincidence. I was looking through promotional pics from The Young Victoria yesterday evening because I was sure a dress I saw was from the movie (I actually still am) and when I came across this one, I was like “Hmmm I feel like I’ve seen this one before as well. I should remember it because side characters often get overlooked.” Now I know why it looked familiar. Of course it was Doctor Who

      • I was just checking something and I just realized this entry doesn’t just refer to the cape(?) but also the actual dress underneath. I accidentally submitted as something new when I realized it was the same dress that I’ve been obsessed with from Der Wagner-Clan. I will delete that once I’m home and submit as suggestion to this post instead.

        • Thank you! Just saw the entry you uploaded. It seems such a shame to cover over such lovely embroidery! So crazy it was used twice and covered. Glad the instance you found has the embroidery on display!

          • I hope we will be able to find it in more series and movies now that we’ve got a clear look at it. It’s gorgeous and hopefully costume designers agree and used it more than we realized so far.
