This pink floral gown has been seen quite a few times over the years. It was first spotted in a 1996 adaptation of Jane Eyre, where it was worn by an extra. In 1997 it was in yet another adaptation of Jane Eyre, where it appeared on Abigail Cruttenden as Blanche Ingram. In 2001 it was worn by Julie Walters as Princess Zasyekin in Lover’s Prayer, and in 2003 by Flora Montgomery as Jenny Lind in Hans Christian Anderson: My Life as a Fairy Tale. In 2005 it was used on an extra in the mini-series Bleak House, and in 2007 it was worn by Lisa Dillon as Mary Smith in Cranford. More recently, in 2016 it was worn by Antonia Bernath as Sally Compeyson in the television show Dickensian. Finally, in 2020 it was worn in Belgravia by Naomi Frederick as the Duchess of Bedford, where lace was added to the bodice to give it a new look.
