This costume was first seen in the 1982 production Nancy Astor, where Lisa Harrow wore it in the title role. It was spotted again on an extra in the 2015 miniseries Arthur & George. In 2023 it was seen in the opening of Peter Pan & Wendy, where it appeared on Molly Parker as Mrs. Darling in an old photograph.
