This bright pink pelisse originated in the 2009 film Bright Star, where it was worn by Abbie Cornish as Fanny Brawne. It appeared again – sadly without the lovely belt – in 2019 on an extra in the seventh episode of the first season of Sanditon. The costume was worn again on Nikki Amuka-Bird as Lady Russell in the 2022 Persuasion.
