About the Costume

This beautiful green and gold striped gown was first spotted in the 1988 film The Deceivers. Because it was worn by an extra, it is likely that this dress originated with an earlier production. The costume was seen again in 1995’s Persuasion, where it was worn by the character Mrs. Clay, portrayed by Felicity Dean. Its last known appearance was on an extra in the 2003 production Byron.
