Thanks!
Anne Reid as Lady Denham in Sanditon
Awesome thank you!
Though there seems to be a good number of new or not yet overly used costumes in it, this one will feature in “Sanditon” again – prominently on none other as Anne Reid as the wealthiest landowner in town, Lady Denham.

Sue also wears this copy of the Queen Mum’s wedding gown, probably from the 2002 tv film Bertie and Elizabeth, worn by Juliet Aubrey.

Oh, this is awesome!
Thank you! I love The Supersizers!
Oh, this one just showed up on S02E09 of Poldark. I’ll try for a cap later.
Nice, thank you!

Thanks! This really is a beautiful gown.
I’m sure this one was worn in “Sense & Sensibility”, by Janet McTeer as Mrs. Dashwood. It’s very similar not to be the same…
I don’t believe it is the same costume, although similar. The stripes on the sleeves are vertical, where as the stripes on the sleeves of the S&S gown are horizontal.
If someone is interested, I’ve made a list in GoodReads with the black dresses in book covers. It’s name is “The Lady in Black”
