About the Costume

This unique emerald green gown adorned with pink bows and van dyke trim at the sleeves was likely created by Dinah Collin for the 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, where it made its debut worn by Nadia Chambers as Miss Anne de Bourgh. After a shockingly long hiatus it was spotted on a little girl in the 2022 second season of Bridgerton in the episode entitled An Unthinkable Fate.

It’s likely this piece was used between 1995 and 2022, but as yet, no other sightings have been documented. If you happen to see it, let us know!
