About the Costume

This yellow dress, accented with lace, has never been truly seen in full on the five book covers on which it has appeared. It was first seen photoshopped a coral pink color on a cover of the 2002 Gaelen Foley novel Lord of Fire.

It was seen in yellow on a cover of the 2005 novel A Fine Passion written by Stephanie Laurens. In 2010, it was seen on two covers – another Gaelen Foley novel, My Dangerous Duke, and the Abigail Reynold novel To Conquer Mr. Darcy. Its last appearance was on the cover of Touch of a Rogue by Mia Marlowe in 2012.

Costume Commentary

  1. I’ve seen it again, in “Enchanted in Regency Society”, an omnibus of novels by Ann Lethbridge, to be published in February 2015… Hope it is useful!

  2. “To” Conquer Mr. Darcy”, not “Touch Conquer…”.
And I’ve read that another title of the same book is “Impulse and Initiative”.

I think is time to live “Pride and Prejudice” alone…
