Greta Scacchi first wore this elegant pelisse as Mrs. Weston in the 1996 adaptation of Emma. Annabelle Apsion reused it as Emma Micawber in the 2001 television series Micawber. It was spotted in 2003’s Byron on an extra before it was seen in the 2007 production Miss Austen Regrets, where Anna Austen Lefroy wore it. In 2010 Anna Madeley was seen wearing the costume as Mariana Belcombe in The Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister. Finally, in 2019 the piece was seen in the first season of Sanditon, where Kate Ashfield wore it as Mary Parker.
